Mayor David Mann and other leaders urge No on 9!Mayor David Mann urged Cincinnatians to Vote No on 9 at an event this morning.He was joined by former Mayors Roxanne Qualls and Arn Bortz, as well as former Vice Mayors Marian Spencer and Jim Tarbell. Monday, October 5, 2009 Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission Opposes Issue 9The Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission is the latest organization to encourage a "NO" vote on issue #9. Click here to read the formal resolution and a memo to Hamilton County municipalities and Board of County Commissioners explaining the Planning Commission's opposition to Issue #9.In the press release, the Planning Commission states that it is opposed to Issue #9 because it "would have a negative effect on the 3C Rail funding request and likely result in a passenger rail system that bypasses the core city – detracting from the future prosperity of many Hamilton County communities."
